 Hockey Day in Hallville Day one of the sixth annual Hallville Outdoor Hockey Tournament fell on the same day as the 10th annual edition of Hockey Day In Canada - Sat., Jan. 30 - which aired on CBC. Seven teams (15 years and over) played in Saturday's competition and five under-15 squads battled for the Hallville Cup on Sunday (Jan. 31). The two-day event raised $350 for the village's rink fund. Goaltender Robyn Sadler, defender Elliott Keller and forward Brandon Buma (right) eyed the flying biscuit during Saturday's match between Team Tyler Jones and Chris Embury's squad. Team Jones posted an 11-7 win. |
