Eva Allen
Eva Allen died after a lengthy illness at the Dundas Manor, Winchester, on Thurs., Sept. 12, 2002 at the age of 78.
She is survived by sister Stella Casselman and sister-in-law Francis Allen. Predeceased by parents William and Margaret Allen; brothers Frank (the late Florence) and Tom (Francis); and sisters Marie (the late Albert Knight), Helen (the late Herman Coons) and Gladys.
She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Miss Allen was a former employee of Government House.
A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chesterville on Sat., Sept. 14 with the Rev. Fr. John Gillis officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Chesterville Funeral Home.
In memory of Miss Allen, donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Dundas Manor would be appreciated by the family.
