Doris Allison
Doris Allison of Hill's Trailer Park, Morrisburg died on Mon., April 29, 2002 at Winchester District Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was 76.
She was the beloved wife of Hartley Allison, whom she married on June 29, 1946 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Riverside Heights. She was the loving mother of Anne Fournier (Lee Crozier) of RR 3 Prescott and Michael (Beverley) of Sayward, B.C.
She was born on July 10, 1925 in Williamsburg Township to the late Garnet and Inez McKenzie (nee Salmon). She is survived by nieces and nephews, and will be greatly missed by her husband, family and friends.
Mrs. Allison was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Riverside Heights, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 538, Williamsburg.
Donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral service was held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home on Wed., May 1 with Rev. Bill Byers and Rev. Pat Martin officiating.
Interment of cremated remains was at St. Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery, Long Sault.
