Jack R. Barnett

Jack R. Barnett died peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Nov. 15, 2002 in his 66th year.
He was the loving husband of Judy Barnett (nee Young) of Winchester. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Irene Barnett.
He is survived by son Steven Ross Barnett (Angie) of Winchester; step-sons James McGann (Elaine) of Ingersol, Patrick McGann of Carleton Place and Daniel McGann of London; and step-daughters Patricia McGann of Vancouver and Cheryl McGann of Taber, Alberta.
He was dear grandfather of Hunter, Jade and Amber Barnett and 10 step-grandchildren.
Mr. Barnett was brother of Maxwell Barnett (Lynn) of Winchester, Dorothy McCadden (Arnold) of Chesterville and Pauline McMillan (Len Godard) of Williamsburg. He's also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at Harmony Church on Ormond Road in Winchester on Nov. 23, followed by interment of ashes at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Winchester Funeral Home.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the dialysis unit of the Winchester District Memorial Hospital in memory of Barney would be appreciated.
