Gary Beckstead
Gary Beckstead of Hills Trailer Park, Morrisburg died on Mon., Aug. 12, 2002 at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. He was 55.
He was the dear son of Duane and Jean Beckstead (nee Wells). Dear father of Blake of Windsor, Adele (Chris) Medler of Amherstburg, Travis (Jennifer) of Amherstburg and Dana at home. Dear brother of Steve (Julie) of RR 2 Williamsburg, Carol Tremblay of Morrisburg and Scott (Karen) of Winchester. He is survived by grandchildren Kayla, Karly, Kurt and Alyssa. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
A truck driver, Mr. Beckstead was born and raised in the Williamsburg area. In the mid-1960s he moved to the Windsor area where he resided for the next 20 years. He moved back to the Williamsburg area in the mid-1980s.
Mr. Beckstead loved driving transport, fishing and hunting. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
There was no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
