Eppie Bosma
Eppie Bosma of RR 2 Brinston died suddenly on Fri., May 10, 2002
at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. He was 60.
He was the beloved husband of Gwen Bosma (nee Warren), whom he
married on June 12, 1965 at the Hainsville United Church. He was
the dear son of Lumechina Bosma (nee Ottens) and the late Abraham
Bosma.
He was the loving father of Cathy (Christopher) Graham of Ottawa,
Christine (David) Hartle of RR 2 Brinston and Connie (Terry) Bartlett
of Brockville. He will be dearly missed by grandchildren Chelsea,
Jessica, Trey, Tamer, Joel, Hunter and Harmony.
He was a dear brother of Grace (Jacob) Rook of Cobden, Tressa
(Glenn) Lapier of RR 2 Brinston and Bea (Lucas) VanBeilen of RR
2 Brinston. Brother-in-law of Clarence Warren (Eileen McCarger)
of Glen Stewart and Bea Warren of Winchester. Also survived by
many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bosma was born on Jan. 4, 1942 in Emmen, The Netherlands.
He immigrated to Canada in 1952, and worked at St. Lawrence Corporation
in Iroquois since 1957.
He was a member of Brinston United Church, where he sang in the
choir for many years.
Donations to Brinston United Church or the Winchester District
Memorial Hospital building fund appreciated by the family.
Visitation was held at Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Iroquois.
Funeral service was held at Brinston United Church on Mon., May
13 with Rev. Bob Fillier officiating. Interment at Hainsville
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Hartle, Chris Graham, Terry Bartlett, Mark
VanBeilen and Ron VanBeilen. Honorary pallbearers were Clarence
Warren, Rick Sparling, Jacob Rook, Lucas VanBeilen and Glenn Lapier.
