Marguerite, Chisholm

Marguerite Chisholm passed away peacefully with family by her side on Mon., May 13, 2002 at the age of 91.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Chisholm. Predeceased by her parents Mary Ann McCormick and Duncan John McDonell, and 10 brothers and sisters.
She was the loving mother of Mary Catherine (late Archie McBean), Florence (George McBean), R.D. Chisholm (Mary), Alan Chisholm and Sheila Chisholm. Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren and caring grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Chisholm will be missed deeply by many nieces and nephews and a wide circle of relatives and friends. She was outgoing and sociable, and related easily to all age groups. She was always compassionate, ready to help and generous.
Family and friends gathered at Munro and Morris Funeral Home, Alexandria on Thurs., May 16 and Fri., May 17. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Kelvin Maloney and Monsignor D. B. McDougald on Fri., May 17 at St. Finnan's Cathedral, Alexandria.
The pallbearers were Mrs. Chisholm's five grandsons: Ian McBean, George McBean, Chris McBean, Michael Becksteader, David Rupoli and Patrick McGuire.
