Elizabeth Cox
Elizabeth Cox of Morrisburg, formerly of Knowlton, Quebec, died peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Fri., May 31, 2002 in her 78th year.
She was the beloved wife of George Cox of Morrisburg. Dear mother of David of Chile, Deborah (Chuck) Selby of Drummondville, Quebec, Helen (Brian) Picken of Metcalfe, Sarah (Barney) Bedard and Liz (Sid) Procee, both of Aidrie, Alberta. She will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren.
She was the loving sister of Ellen Lister and Anne Hall, both of Lichfield, England. Predeceased by parents Henry Faulder Lister and Esther Perry, son Jon and brother John Lister.
Mrs. Cox had a magnetic personality. She loved people and she loved animals. She had an artistic eye and appreciated the beauty in nature. She had a great sense of humor, and she was compassionate and a humanitarian.
Funeral service was held on Mon., June 3 at 2 pm with Rev. Darren May officiating. Cremation followed with private inurnment. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital gratefully acknowledged.
