Ralph Hamilton
Ralph Hamilton of Winchester Springs died suddenly
on Fri., Aug. 23, 2002 at Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
He was 64.
Mr. Hamilton was a lifetime resident of the Winchester area. He
was the beloved husband of Shirley Hamilton (nee Belway), whom
he married on Oct. 28, 1962 at Shirley's parents' home in Mountain
Township.
Loving father of Linda Hamilton of Ottawa, Dwayne (Mary) of Glen
Becker and Roger (Susan) of RR 1 Iroquois. He will be fondly remembered
by grandchildren Megan, Bradley, Shawn, Jessica, Kyle, Matthew
and Jacob.
Dear brother of Raymond (Gail) of Prescott, Joyce (Bill) Leach
of Arnprior, Keith (Marjorie) of RR 1 Morrisburg and Harold (Linda)
of Ottawa. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hamilton was born on May 27, 1938 in Winchester to the late
Stanley and Iva Hamilton (nee Bell). He worked as a heavy equipment
operator at Cruickshank Construction for the past 27 years.
He took great pride in his home and his vehicles, and he spent
many hours making sure they were maintained in the best possible
condition.
Donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be
appreciated by the family.
Funeral service was held on Mon., Aug. 26 at Marsden and McLaughlin
Funeral Home, Williamsburg with Pastor Leavitt officiating. Interment
at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Chesterville.
Pallbearers were Les Cruickshank, Mike Casselman, Reid McIntyre,
Art McElheran, Gord Robinson and Arnold Barkley.
