Dwain Harper

Dwain Harper of Toyes Hill died suddenly at home on Thurs., June 13, 2002 at the age of 78.
Mr. Harper was a farmer and a lifetime resident of Toyes Hill. He was born there on Oct. 23, 1923 to the late Zerney and Maude Harper (nee Howard).
He was a member of the Winchester Springs United Church.
He is survived by sister Elva Cregmile of Cardinal, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Illion, Delbert, Howard, Herbert, Arnold, Fred, Bert and Gerald, and sister Della McKee.
Mr. Harper enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre. Donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral service was held at Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Winchester on Mon., June 17 with Rev. Carol Poley-Delisle officiating. Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery, Chesterville. Pallbearers were Richard Harper, John M. DeVries, Warren Jackson, Bud Pollock, Carl Harper and Willie Haner.
