Joyce Evelyn Marquette
Joyce Evelyn Marquette (nee McCooeye) died peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Sun., July 21, 2002 at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital in her 68th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Keith Arnold Marquette. Dear mother to Doug (Isabel), Karen Durant (Gord Garlough), Kevin, Randy (Lynn), Laurie (Dave) Marquette-Brown and Lisa (Mark) Marquette Morgan. Predeceased by an infant daughter.
She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Phillip, Josie, Stephanie, Eddy, David, Spencer, Trevor, Hannah and Kaine, and great-grandchildren Cameron, Meghan and Samantha.
Mrs. Marquette was a dear sister to the late Donny (Vivian) McCooeye, Shirley (the late Stan) Gillett, Gwennie (the late Ab) Lytle, Elroy (Ann) McCooeye, Percy (the late Claire) McCooeye, the late June McCooeye, Marilyn "Mert" (Hughie) Hennigar, Allan (Diane) McCooeye and Shielda (the late Johnny) Sidoli.
Friends may pay their respects on Wed., July 24 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, and on Thurs., July 25 from 12:30 pm until the time of service at the Winchester Funeral Home. The service will take place on Thurs., July 25 at 2 pm in the chapel of the Winchester Funeral Home, with Rev. Laurie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Doug Marquette, Karen Durant, Kevin Marquette, Randy Marquette, Laurie Marquette-Brown and Lisa Marquette Morgan.
Donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital dialysis fund would be appreciated by the family.
