Malcolm Alexander McNairn
Malcolm Alexander McNairn died
suddenly at home in Belleville on Oct. 6, 2002 in his 85th year.
He was born in Gallingertown, Ontario on Aug. 22, 1918, the son
of the late Johnson McNairn and Annie Beach.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Helen M. McNairn (nee Wedden)
of Belleville; sons William (Colette) McNairn of Sudbury, Donald
McNairn of Belleville, Robert McNairn of Whitby, Rodney McNairn
of Smiths Falls and daughter Brenda McNairn of Belleville; and
granddaughter Kim McNairn of Ottawa.
Also surviving is step-mother Ida McNairn of Cornwall; sisters
Jean Presley of Morrisburg and Marjorie Heagle of Glen Burnie;
brother Edwin McNairn of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters Agnes Marcellus, Elizabeth Gow and
Isobel Gow.
Relatives and friends assembled with the family on Oct. 9 at the
Belleville Funeral Home. Donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association
would be appreciated by the family.
