Bruce Mills

Bruce Mills of RR 2 Mountain died on Sat., June 29, 2002 at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. He was 68.
He was the beloved husband of Shirley Elizabeth Hartley, whom he married in Toronto on Nov. 14, 1959. He was the loving father of David (Daphne) of Vancouver, BC, Kevin (Rebecca) of San Antonio, Texas, Jennifer Winter (Tim) of Brockville and predeceased by son Colin.
Mr. Mills was a dear grandfather of Weston, Nathan, Jamie, Duncan and Alex. He was a dear brother of Anne Hartley (Cliff), Grant (Betty) and Brian, and predeceased by brother George. He was a dear brother-in-law of Elizabeth Mills.
He was born on July 11, 1933 in Port Arthur, Ontario to the late Walter Bruce Mills and Marjorie Stirrett.
He was a graduate of Ryerson University, Toronto, and worked as an electronic technologist for the National Research Council.
He was a member of the United Church, Inkerman.
Funeral service will be held at Byers Funeral Home chapel on Wed., July 3 with Rev. Mary Lou Shortill and Sterling Irvine officiating. Cremation with interment at Knights Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jeremy Mills, Brian Mills, Grant Mills, Cliff Hartley, Steve Hartley, Cal Hartley. Honorary pallbearer was Roy Fawcett.
