Jack Milne
Jack Milne of Mountain died at home on May 4, 2002. He was 73.
Mr. Milne was a self-employed farmer. He was born on Dec. 25, 1928 in Clean, Saskatchewan, to the late John Milne and Elizabeth Beggs.
He was a dear brother of Oscar (Muriel), Gerald (Margaret), Brian (Alice), Audrey Gibson, Marion Fawcett and Clara Thompson (Don). Predeceased by Dorothy Gibson and brothers-in-law Bill Gibson and Norman Gibson.
He was a dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Milne was a member of the Mountain Seniors. He was a member of the United Church.
Funeral service was held on May 7 at the Byers Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Angela Bailey officiating. Interment at South Gower Cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews Ian Fawcett, Chris Gibson, Hal Thompson, Gary Milne, as well as Irwin MacCargar and Bill Workman. Honorary pallbearer was Jack MacCargar.
