Absalom Randell

Absalom Randell of Morrisburg died peacefully at Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Mon., Aug. 19, 2002, in his 81st year.
He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Brisson (1999). They were married on Dec. 24, 1948 in Toronto. He was born on June 19, 1922 in Port Rexton, Newfoundland, to the late Alexander and Olive Randell. Mr. Randell worked as a seaman, ship's officer and first mate.
Dear brother of Harold (Daphne) of Harwood and brother-in-law of Maurice (Lucille) Brisson of Laval, Quebec. Sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by sisters Rita Clark and Violet (Leslie) Arnold and brother Ken (Grace) Randell.
A memorial service was held at the Parker Funeral Home, Morrisburg on Sat., Aug. 24 with Rev. Bill Byers officiating. Inurnment in the Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Port Rexton, Newfoundland. Memorial donations to St. James Anglican Church, Morrisburg gratefully acknowledged.
