Viola Irene Richardson

Viola "Vi" Irene Richardson of Dundas Manor, Winchester, and formerly of RR 2 Mountain, died on Tues., May 14, 2002 at her residence.
She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Borden Richardson (1988), whom she married on April 10, 1935. She was born on Oct. 4, 1913 in Mountain Township to the late Kenneth Marcell and Mathilda Mae Dalgleish.
She was the loving mother of Willa Potter (Noel) and the late Elaine Van Bridger. Dear grandmother of Derek (Sheila) Potter, Shannon Van Bridger (Mark), Kara Potter (Art), Stacey Potter, Greg Van Bridger and the late Kelly Potter. Great-grandmother of Brittany Carkner and sister of the late Lloyd Marcell.
Mrs. Richards worked as a cook at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the United Church.
Funeral service was held at Byers Funeral Home Chapel on Thurs., May 16 with Rev. Ted Colwell officiating. Interment at South Gower Cemetery.
Pallbearers were grandsons Art Stoyles, Mark Carkner and Greg Van Bridger; Ed Rose, Bill Lillico and Jim Gannon.
