Lila Grace (Hall) Scrbic
The family of Lila Grace (Hall) Scrbic is very saddened to announce the passing of their dear loved one, on Sun., Sept. 1, 2002 in her 76th year.
She was the beloved wife of Albin Scrbic. Loving mother of Bonnie (Harry) Francis, Donnie (Joan) Hall, Stephen (Debbie) Hall, Carl (Patti) Hall, Denise (Richard) Gaines (nee Scrbic), Mike Scrbic (Lindsay Brown) and Linda Scrbic (John Streng).
Dear grandmother of Steve, Scott, Jamie, Brian, Kevin, Rick, Shawn, Jodi, Janis, Barrett, Kyle and Sara; great-grandmother of Hunter, Amber, Jade, Meghann, Liam, Alex and Sierra. Predeceased by brothers Charles (Theresa) McMillan and Floyd McMillan. Survived by dear sister-in-law, Pauline.
Mrs. Scrbic was born in Berwick on Oct. 9, 1926 to Donald and Estella McMillan (nee Miller). In 1947 she married Bernard Hall. They resided in Chesterville and had four children. Bernard died in 1973.
In 1977 she married Albin Scrbic. Their love united two families and she became a mother to Albin's three children. She was a warm and loving person; a dear and good friend to many. Affectionately known as Nan, she was never happier than when she was holding one of her precious grandchildren or great-grandchildren in her arms.
A graveside service for family and friends was held at Maple Ridge Cemetery on Sept. 5. Burial of the cremated remains was officiated by the Rev. Sandy McPherson.
