Rene St. Pierre

Rene St. Pierre of Crysler passed away on Oct. 19, 2002 at the age of 73.
He was the son of the late Abraham St. Pierre and the late Rose-Delima St. Pierre (nee Matte), both of Winchester.
His passing will be grieved by his beloved wife Dorothy Bowman of Crysler. He was the cherished father of Allan Bowman (Janice) of Inkerman, Harvey Bowman (Sharol) of Winchester, Cathy (Greg Hillis) of Morewood, and Lynda (Barton Heagle) of Ingleside.
He was the dear grandfather of Clayton Bowman of Cornwall; Lance Bowman (Lisa) of Finch; Shannon Bowman of Ottawa; Joey Hillis of Morewood; Melissa Bowman of Cornwall; Kristine Hillis of Jasper, Alberta; Ashley Heagle of Ingleside; Bryan Hillis of Morewood; and Stephanie Hillis of Morewood; and the great-grandfather of Sabrina Pickup of Cornwall.
He was the beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is survived by sisters Laurette Cayer, Noella Lebrun (Moise), Beatrice Crane (Everett), Rosia Sabourin (Leo), Celine Chartand (Marcel) and Adele (the late Rheal). He was predeceased by his brothers Maurice, Albert, Alexandre, Omer, Gustave and sister Marie Levac.
He was born on July 15, 1929 in Winchester Township.
Friends may pay their respects at the Winchester Funeral Home on Oct. 23 from 2-4 pm and from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the Winchester Funeral Home on Thurs., Oct. 24 at 11 am with Rev. John Gillis officiating. Cremation will follow.
