Ethel Lilian Van Allen
Ethel Lilian Van Allen of Morrisburg died peacefully at the Hartford Residence Centre, Morrisburg on Thurs., Sept. 5, 2002, after a brief illness, in her 90th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Dwight Van Allen, who died at war in 1942. They were married in Binsted, England in 1940. Mrs. Van Allen was born on Jan 4, 1913 in England to the late Alfred Collins and Lily Louisa Croucher.
She was the loving mother of Brian (Sharon) Van Allen of Morrisburg. Dear sister of Eileen Brooks and Arthur (Joyce) Brooks of Hampshire England.
Sadly missed by niece Elizabeth (Stephen) Boxall and nephew Clive Brooks, both of Hampshire/Surrey, England.
A private family visitation was held at the Parker Funeral Home, Morrisburg. Cremation. Inurnment at Binsted Anglican Church Cemetery, England on Fri., Sept. 13. Memorial donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital's Renewing the Vision campaign gratefully acknowledged.
