Mary Aletha Williams

Mary Aletha Williams (nee Barrigar) of Dundas Manor, Winchester, and formerly of RR 2 Mountain, died on Fri., July 5, 2002 at her residence. She was 87.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Hugh Williams (July 30, 1996), whom she married in Inkerman on Sept. 7, 1935. She was the loving mother of Bill (Donna), Mrs. Carol Guffroy (Jacques), Bob (Marilyn), Ken and Brian (Nancy). Dear grandmother of Kim (Dale), Scott (Crystal), Tracey (Ian), Chris (Cheryl), Kevin, Grant (Sherrylynn), Tania and Sean; great-grandmother of Ryan, Kaitlyn, Kayne, Jayde-Lyn, Kye, Cheyenne, Jarret and Kayleigh. Predeceased by sister Edna Bebee.
Mrs. Williams was born on Dec. 3, 1914 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to the late Edward Barrigar and Effie Maude Barkley. She worked as a nurses' aid at Winchester District Memorial Hospital and Oxford Nursing Home.
Family was number-one for Mrs. Williams. She enjoyed playing piano with the seniors in Kemptville and with the seniors' band in Kemptville. She was a member of the Mountain and Winchester seniors groups. She was a member of the Winchester United Church.
Funeral service was held at Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain on Tues., July 9 with Rev. Carol Poley-Delisle officiating. Interment at South Gower Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dale Williams, Scott Helmer, Chris Williams, Kevin Williams, Grant Williams and Sean Williams.
