Roger van Velthoven

Roger van Velthoven of Winchester died on Dec. 4, 2002 at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. He was 58.
He is survived by his wife Mary. They were married in North Bay on April 28, 1990. He was self-employed as a carpenter. He was a former resident of Ottawa.
Mr. Van Velthoven was born on July 11, 1944 to the late Adrian van Velthoven and Marie (nee Josie), still living.
He is survived by children Wayne, Wanda (Scott) Parlee, Wendy (Jay) and step-daughter April Levert. He was grandpa of Aidan and Kevin. He was brother of Lucky (Sue) of Chilliwack, B.C., Etienne "Steve" of Richmond and Irene (Tony) Schouten of Richmond.
A memorial service was held at Byers Funeral Home Chapel in South Mountain on Dec. 9. Rev. Mary Lou Shortill officiated with cremation following.
