Inez Catherine Isobel Allison
Isobel Allison of Berwick died peacefully after
a long battle with cancer at Winchester District Memorial Hospital
on May 20, 2003. She was 59.
She was born in Finch on Feb. 27, 1944. She was the beloved wife
of Brian Allison. They were married in Morewood United Church
on Aug. 22, 1964. She worked for many years as a waitress in Winchester
for Dalton and Jean Kenney, for Symond's Restaurant and Alexander's
Lunch for Margaret and Ron Alexander. She also worked at Beckers
and Mac's Milk for several years.
She enjoyed flowers and vegetable gardening, quilting, bingo and
making butterscotch pie.
She will be sadly missed by her mother Leila Dingwall (nee McDermid)
of Berwick. She will be missed by siblings Floyd (Muriel) Dingwall
of Berwick, Eldred (Rita) Dingwall of Nepean, Kenneth Dingwall
of Berwick, Shirley (Archie) Lang of Berwick, Winston (Connie)
Dingwall of Berwick, Melissa (Kenneth) Jackson of Berwick, Ross
Dingwall of Finch, Harold Dingwall of Berwick, Linda (Charles)
Alexander of Williamsburg, Ronnie (Lucie) Dingwall of Newington,
David (Allynn) Dingwall of Lunenburg, Helen (Darrell) Wall of
Calgary, and Gloria (Brian) McMonagle of Ingleside.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased
by father Lynden Dingwall, sister-in-law Luella Dingwall, father-in-law
Harold Allison and mother-in-law Anna Patterson (nee Allison.)
Funeral services were held at Brownlee Funeral Home in Finch on
May 23, officiated by Rev. Dr. Davis Ross. Cremation followed
with interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.

or to Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
