Mary Katherine Beckstead
Mary Katherine Beckstead died after a brief illness and a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away on July 11, 2003, at home, surrounded by her family. She was 49.
She is survived by husband Neil, and sons Craig and Kelly, both at home. She was loving daughter of Edith and the late George Chambers. She was daughter-in-law of Burton and Joan Beckstead. She was sister to Shawn (Debbie), Patsy Feeley (Barry), Danny (Heather), Karen Ball (Winston) and Christina Thompson (John), all of Chesterville.
She will always be remembered by her many nieces and nephews, co-workers and customers at the Chesterville Pharmacy, as well as her many friends and acquaintances in the area. She will be greatly missed by her faithful little dog Scamp.
Visitation was held at the Chesterville Funeral Home on July 13. Funeral mass was celebrated on July 14 at St. Mary's Church in Chesterville.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
