Carl Simon Garlough
Carl Simon Garlough died peacefully in hospital in Shawville, Quebec on May 31, 2003. He was 82.
He was the beloved husband of Reta Carson and the late Lula Curry. He was dear father of Darl (Brenda) of Ottawa, and Joel (Lee) of Stittsville.
He was stepfather of Joan Bauer of Shawville and loving brother of Earl (Tilly) of Winchester. He was predeceased by brother Burt.
Mr. Garlough was the caring grandfather of Glen, Tami, Kelly, and Chris; and great-grandfather of Kyle and Mykenzie.
He was a long-time employee of Borden's Dairy and Campbell Ford in Ottawa.
Friends called at the W.J. Hayes and Sons Funeral Home in Shawville on June 2, and at the Winchester Funeral Home on June 3, at which time a funeral service was held in the chapel. Interment was at Springhill Cemetery in Vernon.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
