Yvette L. Lalonde
Yvette Lalonde of Embrun died peacefully on May 30, 2003 at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. She was 81.
She was dear wife of the late Anatole Lalonde of Crysler. She was cherished mother of Robert (Shirley) of Manotick Station, Jeannine (Dale) Marcellus of Chesterville, and Leo (Laura-Lee) of Metcalfe.
She will be missed by grandchildren Donnie (Sharon) Marcellus of Greely, Todd (Melissa) Marcellus of Ottawa, Susan (Dan) Robillard of Chesterville, and Frank (Cathy) Lalonde of Morrisburg. She will be missed by great-grandchildren Mason and Carter Marcellus of Greely; Hannah Marcellus of Ottawa; Leigh and Erik Bequette of Chesterville; and Sarah Robillard of Chesterville. She was dear sister to Irene (the late Alcide Gibeault) of Chesterville.
Mrs. Lalonde was predeceased by brother Armand (the late Irene) of Morewood, and sister Theresa (the late Paul Lalonde) of Finch. She will be fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was born in Chesterville on April 25, 1922 to the late Albert Patenaude and Ida (nee Taillon).
Friends paid their respects at the Chesterville Funeral Home on June 1. The funeral took place on June 2 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Chesterville, with Father John Gillis officiating.
Pallbearers were Todd Marcellus, Donnie Marcellus, Hector Patenaude, Richard Patenaude, Gerald Gibeault, and Richard Gibeault. Cremation followed. An inurnment will take place at the Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire Cemetery in Crysler at a later date.
