Dorothy May Merkley
Dorothy May Merkley (nee Reaney) died peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital-Civic Campus on Aug. 23, 2003. She was 81.
She was predeceased by dear husband Wallace. She is survived by sister Gladys (Orton) Robinson.
She was predeceased by brothers Arnold, James and Ross (the late Audrey) and by sisters Margaret, Viola, Velma and Bertha. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends.
She rested at the Winchester Funeral Home where the family received friends on Aug. 26. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Wed., Aug. 27 at 11 am, with Rev. Robert Votary officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
The pallbearers are Stephen Crowder, John Hutchinson, Gary Robinson, Keith Guy, Raymond Porteous and Allen Sargent. Gerald Merkley is an honorary pallbearer.
