Audrey Elizabeth Nelson
Audrey Elizabeth Nelson died at Dundas Manor in Winchester on Sept. 23, 2003. She was 69.
She was the wife of the late Gerry Nelson, whom she married in Chesterville on Oct. 27, 1962. He died in 2000.
She was born in Chesterville on March 13, 1934 to the late John Elliott and Annie (nee Schofield).
She worked as a waitress and home care provider. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She moved to Dundas Manor from South Mountain.
She is survived by children Vicki Beckstead (David Bilmer), Shirley Faulkner (Richard), Kathy Nelson-Ball (Steven). She will be remembered by grandchildren Stevie, Jesse, Jessica, Jordyn, Sarah, Shelby and Spencer.
She was sister of Lillian Guindon, Nelda Purchon, Marjorie Bouck, Gwenie Smith, Eric (Georgina), Claire (Jacqueline), Shirley Beckstead (Keith) and Terry (Ruby). She was predeceased by siblings Grant, Sonny and Maxine. She was beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held in the Byers Funeral Home chapel in South Mountain on Sept. 26, officiated by Rev. Paul Chambers. Cremation followed the funeral.
Pallbearers were Howard Smith, Gary Bouck, Paul Elliott, Eric Elliott, Claire Elliott and Keith Beckstead.
