Donald Grant Sirvage
Donald Grant Sirvage died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Oct. 1, 2003, following a short illness. He was 77.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lena (nee Bingley). He was loving father of Thomas (Linda) Sirvage of Chesterville; Jean McCadden (Arden Carruthers) of Morewood; and Ruth Sirvage of Buck Lake, Albert.
He was dear grandfather of Kathaleen and Robert Sirvage; Donald and Kelly Chambers; and Carolyn and Sandra McCadden. He is survived by sisters Dorothy Burnett (late Ken) of Manotick, Katherine Parks (Armand) of North Bay, and Barbara Kelly (late Edmund) of Chesterville. He was predeceased by brother Russell Sirvage.
He was born on Nov. 8, 1925 in Coronation, Alberta to the late Ernest Grant Sirvage and the late Laurie Sirvage (nee Underwood).
The visitation took place at the Chesterville Funeral Home where the family received friends on Oct. 3. The funeral service was held in the chapel of the funeral home on Oct. 4. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
