Anna Jean Somerville
Anna Jean Somerville died peacefully at Winchester
District Memorial Hospital on May 26, 2003. She was 87.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Brown and Margaret
(nee Rainey). She was also predeceased by husbands Sylvanus Lacelle
and Cecil Somerville.
She was the dearly beloved mother of Alice (Jack) Ellacott of
Ottawa, Ann Fleming of Ottawa, Robert (Aline) Lacelle of Chesterville,
Milton (Laney) Lacelle of Morewood, and Keith (Carol) Lacelle
of Brockville.
She was loving Granny to 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by sisters Verda Clements of Newington, Phyllis
McAuley of Metcalfe, Eileen Armstrong of Winchester and Mary Stewart
of Winchester.
Mrs. Somerville was predeceased by sisters Greta Lobb and Sybil
Skuce; and brothers Stanley Brown and Robert Brown. She will be
sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and her many friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held at the Duncan Funeral Home and Chapel
on May 30. Interment was at South Gower Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Erwin Skuce, Donnie Clements, Joe Racine, Robert
Brown, Dwayne Armstrong and Carl Hutchinson. Honorary pallbearers
were Earl Brown and Lyle Skuce.

Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
