Eleanor Spearman
Eleanor Spearman entered into rest peacefully at Quinte Health Care -- Belleville General on Feb. 14, 2003. She was 89.
She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Dr. James S.A. Spearman. She was the beloved daughter of the late Anson and Carrie Deeks.
She was the loving mother of Helen (Mrs. John Hocking) of Naperville, Illinois; and Ruth (Mrs. Charles Davis) of San Diego, California. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Helmer. She was dear mother-in-law of Wayne Helmer of Stittsville.
Mrs. Spearman will be sadly missed by her cherished grandchildren Jennifer (Mrs. Craig Schuler), Heather (Mrs. Scott Spray), Steve (Mrs. Kristen Simmons), Scott (Mrs. Amy Simmons), Michael, Carrie and Nathan Davis, and by her great grandchildren Lorraine and Eleanor Schuler.
She was dear sister of Clara Deeks, Ella Deeks and was predeceased by Dorothy (Mrs. Walter Spearman) all of Willimaburg.
Friends attended visitation at the Burke Funeral Home in Belleville on Feb. 16. A celebration of her life was held at Trenton Wesleyan Church in Trenton on Feb. 17. Interment was at Mount Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
