Harold Theede
Harold Theede, a 25-year resident
of Winchester, died at home on March 8, 2003. He was 74.
He is survived by wife Luella McRae, whom he married in Belleville
on July 14, 1951.
He was born on April 11, 1928 in Cereal, Alberta to the late Gustave
Alfred Theede and Agnes Ruby (nee Flater).
Mr. Theede is survived by children Brent (Nancy) of Brooklin and
Brian at home. He will be remembered by grandchildren Tanner and
Dawson Theede. He is also survived by brothers Glen (Shirley)
and Fred, all of Calgary. He was predeceased by brother Billy.
He was a sergeant with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 23 years.
Later, he worked as a middle manager at Microsystems International.
He was a former Ottawa resident. He was a member of the South
Mountain United Church.
The funeral was held at the South Mountain United Church on March
10, officiated by Rev. MaryLou Shortill. Cremation with interment
of remains will be at the Maxville Cemetery in the summer.
Pallbearers were Jack Hoogenboom, Robin McIntyre, Harold McRae
Jr., Jack McCarger, Randy McRae and Chris Mellor.
Arrangements were entrusted to Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain.
