Vivian G. Whipps
Vivian Gwendolyn Whipps died peacefully at her home in Ottawa on Dec. 13, 2003. She was 79.
She was the wife of the late George Whipps, who predeceased her in 1967.
She was the loving mother of Sharron Anderson of Kingston. She was the dear grandmother of Susan Anderson of Calgary, and Caitlin Anderson of Belleville.
She is survived by brother Ronald Timmins (Murla) of Winchester, and sister Sandra Benoit (Raymond) of Morrisburg. She was the dear friend of Linus MacKenzie.
She was predeceased by parents Sadie (nee Crowder) and Delmer Timmins. She was also predeceased by sisters Joyce Harrington and Lorna Elliott.
She is resting at the Winchester Funeral Home at 505 Church Street in Winchester. Family will receive friends on Fri., Dec 19 from 1 to 3 pm, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm. Burial will be at South Gower Cemetery in the spring.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
