Duane Carl Baldwin
Duane Carl Baldwin of RR2 Brinston
passed away peacefully at the Woodland Villa, Long Sault, on Oct.
14, 2004. He was 89.
He was born on March 10, 1915, to the late Philip Levi Baldwin
and Lulu Fetterly. He married his beloved wife Edith Barkley on
Nov. 19, 1935. He and Edith farmed in the area for over 60 years.
He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandsons.
Mourning his loss is his wife Edith, his children Murray (Dorla)
and Lois Dingwall and his sister Lilah (Keith) Barkley. He will
be sadly missed by his grandchildren Sandra (Randy) Strader, Keith,
Kevin (Kathy), Dale (Kim), Connie (Rick) Kerkof, Glen (Leslie)
and Natasha Dingwall. He was the loving great-grandfather of Tyler,
Shayne, Shannon, Travis, Derek, Darren, Braedon, Drew, Jason,
Cassandra, Jessica, and Erik. He was predeceased by brothers Donald,
Kenneth and Stanley and son-in-law Beryl Dingwall.
Friends called at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois
on Oct. 17. The funeral service took place at the funeral home
on Oct. 18 with Rev. Yvonne Willis officiating. Interment was
at Hainesville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith, Kevin, Dale,
Glen Baldwin, Randy Strader and Rick Kerkof.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Winchester District Memorial
Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
