David George Beckinsale
David George Beckinsale of Pleasant
Valley, South Mountain passed away on Oct. 2, 2004, at the Winchester
District Memorial Hospital. He was 64.
He is survived by his wife Louise Arcand whom he married on Dec.
30, 1988, at the Hallville United Church. He was predeceased
by his first wife Patricia Ruth Prior. He is survived by his children
Paul (Sandra) of South Mountain, and Sally (Terry) of Brockville.
He was grandfather to Shane, Ashley, Shannen and Chelsea.
He was the brother of Evelyn (Louis) Collett of Bracknell, England.
He was the son-in-law of Gerald Arcand (Eleanor) and the late
Edna Summers. He was the brother-in-law of Wayne (Nora Lea) of
Sudbury, Diane of Markdale, Allan (Carol Ann) of Mountain, Lyle
(Joan) of Amherstview, Caroline (Randy) of Ottawa, Marilyn (Gord)
of Eganville, and Marie (Bill) of Kingston. He was the nephew
of many aunts and uncles and he was uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
He was born in East Hampstead, Windsor, England on May 8, 1940,
to the late William Beckinsale and the late Alice Russell.
He lived in South Mountain for 28 years and was a machinist at
the National Research Council.
The funeral will be held at the Mountain Township Agricultural
Hall, Lough Road, South Mountain, on Oct. 6, 2004, at 11 am with
Rev. Blair Paterson officiating. Cremation to follow.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home,
South Mountain.
