Frederick Wilbert Christie
Frederick Wilbert Christie died peacefully in Winchester on May 20, 2004. He was born in 1923.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marion (nee Rooke); son Michael and daughter Betty Anne, both of Winchester; and daughter Margaret of Ottawa.
He is also survived by two granddaughters, Ashley Christie and Cynthia Misener; and sister Mary Thompson. He was predeceased by brother John. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held at the Winchester Funeral Home on May 21. The funeral service took place in the chapel of the funeral home on May 22 with Rev. Carol Bain officiating. Burial followed at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
The pallbearers were Harold, George and Paul Thompson; John Monahan; Bruce Pelkey; and Cynthia Misener.
