Helene Edna Crump
(nee Faulkner) of Chesterville passed away on Nov. 24, 2004 at
the Kemptville District Hospital. She was 77.
She was born on Dec. 11, 1926 in Huntingdon, Quebec to the late
John Faulkner and the late Gladys Baker.
She is survived by children Elaine McLaren (Ken), BettyAnn (Carl),
Angus (Roxanne), Heather (Ron), Susan Crump, and John Cayer. She
was predeceased by children Marilyn Ruth, Allan and Connie Cayer.
She is survived by grandchildren Julie Summers (Geff); Gregory
Darling; Dawn, Jason, Stephanie, and Nathan Crump; Jean-Jacques,
Bobby, Louise, and Luc Cayer; and Derrick, Carly, and Jaclyn Crump.
She is survived by great-grandchildren Alyson and Kaitlynn Summers
and by sisters Rita Raymond (late Glen), Doreen Marcellus (Russell),
Estella MacGregor (Malcolm), Shirley Carruthers (late Hector)
and Faye Coons (Elwood). She is also survived by sisters-in-law
Ruby and Marlene Faulkner. She was predeceased by brothers Don
and Jack. She was aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was a past employee of K-Mart where she worked as a sales
clerk. She was a member of Morewood United Church, a member of
the UCW, served Meals-On-Wheels and was involved at Nor-Dun Seniors
Support Centre.
Visitation will be held at Morewood United Church on Dec. 4 from
10 am to 12 noon. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon with
Rev. MaryLou Shortill officiating, followed by interment of cremated
remains at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
Donations to the Lean On Me Campaign at the Kemptville District
Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
