Thomas Edison Hill
Thomas Edison Hill passed away at Dundas Manor
in Winchester on Feb. 25, 2004. He was 80.
He was born in South Mountain on June 17, 1923 to John Hill and
Amy (nee Billings). He was an electrician, formerly of Chesterville.
He is survived by his only daughter, Sara (Ray) Charette; and
grandchildren Allison (Richard) Tourigny, Curtis Scott, Robert
Scott, and Alicia Marselje Scott, all of Calgary. He is also survived
by great-grandchildren Tanner Morrison, Alyssa Needlands and Zachary
Tourigny. He was predeceased by grandson Allister Marselje in
1998.
Left to mourn his passing are sisters Alice Roach and Bessie Bilow,
along with his favorite niece, Rita Johnson, and favorite nephews,
John Hutt and Tommy Bilow.
The family would like to thank the staff of Dundas Manor for the
care and concern they extended toward Tommy in the 12 years of
his residence, with special thanks to Margaret Weegar.
At the request of the family, there were no services held, and
expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral
arrangements were entrusted to the Winchester Funeral Home.
