Lorne Hamilton Jordan
Lorne Hamilton Jordan passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, on Oct. 1, 2004. He was 80.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy May (nee Darling) of Chesterville. He was the loving father of Wayne (Freida) of Chesterville, Garry (Regina) of North Gower and Linda (Stephen) Hess of Whitby. He is survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his sister Marion Jackson of Cornwall.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Martha (nee Hamilton) Jordan and sisters Glowena Girdwood and Kathleen Flegg.
He was a member of Trinity United Church, a past elder of the church, member of session and a past Master of Chesterville Masonic Lodge #320.
The funeral service was held in the Chapel of the Chesterville Funeral Home on Oct. 4, followed by interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Lorne would be appreciated.
