Jacoba Kardolus-Vroone
Suddenly on Jan 13, 2004 at the Ottawa General Hospital, after a brief illness, Jacoba Kardolus-Vroone was called home. She was 72.
She was born in Den Haag, the Netherlands, on Oct. 26, 1931. She will be sadly missed by her family: husband Arie Kardolus, daughter Vera Moke, daughter Emily (Mark ) Hutchinson, son Paul (Trisha), son Robert (Lily) and all her grandchildren. She is survived by brother Gerrit Vroone and sister Elizabeth "Bep" (Jacques) Smit.
The visitation was held at the Chesterville Funeral Home on Jan. 17. The service took place in the chapel of the funeral home on the same day.
