Dorothy Irene Moffatt
Dorothy Irene Moffatt passed away peacefully on June 11, 2004 at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 41.
She was loving mother of Dawn and Melissa and beloved partner of Andrew Lamoureux.
She was the dear daughter of Harold and Ruth Moffatt and sister of George (Sharon), Gary (Jackie), David (Angie), Darrell and Cindy (Murray Davis). She will also be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Duncan Funeral Home in Metcalfe on June 15. The funeral was held at the funeral home on June 16, with Rev. Neil Baxter officiating. Interment was at Vars United Cemetery in Vars.
The pallbearers were Paul Allan, Jeff Caird, Don Empey, Paul Hughes, Perry Lamoureux and Howard Marshall.
Donations to a memorial education fund set up for Dorothy's girls or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
