Wilma Marguerite Sheldrick
On Dec. 4, 2004, Wilma Marguerite Sheldrick (nee Ouderkirk) having celebrated her 87th birthday (Dec. 3), has gone to her Heavenly reward for a wonderful life that touched so many people. She passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
She was the beloved wife, for more than 60 years, of the late Archie Sheldrick.
She was the loving mother of Murray (Brenda) of Ottawa, Garry (Wanda) of Winchester, the late Marilyn (Ken McDonald), Dale (Grethe) of Barrhaven, Keith (Barbra) of Kanata and Ralph (Nancy) of Winchester. She was the loving grandmother of Alison; Tonya and Grant; Crystal (Kevin) Kimberly; Kris and Lee-Ann; Diana and Brian; and Jason and Brent and was great-grandmother of Brittany and Curtis. She was the sister of Eunice and the late Maefred, Elwood, Jean and Clarence.
Visitation was held at the Duncan Funeral Home in Metcalfe, on Dec. 7 where family and friends paid their respects. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Dec. 8 at 11 am. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in the spring of 2005.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all those involved in the care and support provided to Wilma at the Dundas Manor and especially the nursing staff at Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
