Robert Albert Vanasse
Robert Albert Vanasse died following a lengthy illness at Ottawa General Hospital on July 10, 2004. He was 56.
He was loving husband of Heather (nee McElman). He was the loving father of Mark (Lynn) Vanasse of Finch and Robert Vanasse. He was loving grandfather to Cody, Tavish and Cameron Vanasse.
He was dear brother to Michel of the United States, Therese of Gatineau, and Pierrette of Plantagenet. He is survived by mother Rita Belair, father-in-law Jim McElman and mother-in-law Kay McElman.
He is survived by friends Pierre, Bud and Mac. He was predeceased by father Emile Vanasse. He was a long-time member of Cedar Glen Golf Club.
As per his wishes, there was no visitation. For those wishing, donations to the Lupus Society would be acknowledged by the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chesterville Funeral Home.
