Gertrude Willard
Gertrude Ethelyn Victoria Willard (nee Rawn) passed away peacefully, with her family at her side on Dec. 18, 2004, in Winchester District Memorial Hospital. She was 96.
She was the beloved wife of the late J. Howard Willard. She was born on Oct. 17, 1908 in Coldwater to the late John and Winnifred Rawn.
She was the loved and loving mother of Garry (Elaine), Nancy Henson (Hal), and Gabriel Lepkey (Gay). She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren: Michele Broadfoot, Kelly Simak and Garry Jacob (children of Nancy); Ashleigh and Alyson Lepkey and Paul Blackmore (children of Gabriel); Lawrence Mason and Sarah; Rebecca, Lisa and Christopher Willard (children of Garry); and 13 great-grandchildren: Krystal, Lauren, and Keenan Mason; Zoe Willard-Hills; Ryan, Cory and Kimberley Broadfoot; Chantal, Sabrina and David Simak; and Andrew, Justin and Tyler Blackmore.
The family received friends at the Winchester Funeral Home on Dec. 20. A service to celebrate her life was held at Winchester United Church on Dec. 21 with Rev. Bob Williams officiating.
