Walter Wylie
Walter Wylie, formerly of Mountain, passed away at Dundas Manor on July 22, 2004. He was 78.
He is survived by his wife Doris Flegg, whom he married on Nov. 26, 1947, in Morewood. He is survived by children Wayne (Audrey), Larry (Debbie), Cheryl (Bob), Reg (Bev), Danny, and Karen (Dan). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was an uncle to Kathy Arcand, and Bill and Garnet Wylie. He was predeceased by his brother Delbert and sister Dorothy Arcand.
He was born on Feb. 28, 1926, in Mountain to the late William Wylie and Della Stewart. He was a school bus driver and mail courier for Canada Post and a member of the Anglican Church.
A graveside comittal of cremated remains was held at South Gower Cemetery on July 26 with Rev. Brian Kauk officiating.
