Olive Jean Allen
Olive Jean Allen (nee Bellinger) passed away on Feb. 13, 2005 after a courageous struggle, at Extendicare in Kingston. Born in 1915, she was 89.
She was the only child of the late Margaret (nee Baker) and Silas Bellinger. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert Allen. She was the cherished mother of Helen Stowe (Gerry) and Patricia Pointen (Ward), all of Kingston. She was the devoted grandmother to Michael Stowe (Julie) of Kitchener, and Jeremy Stowe (Deborah) of Ottawa. She was the much loved great-grandmother of Alyxandra, Braeden, Ryan and Lauren.
The visitation will be held at the Winchester Funeral Home on Feb. 17 from 1 pm until the time of the service. The service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 pm. The burial will follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
For those wishing, donations to either the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Winchester United Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
