Olive Madeline Beaudoin
Olive Madeline Beaudoin (nee Simser) of South Mountain, passed away in Kemptville District Hospital on Dec. 10, 2005. She was 79.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1926 in Mountain Township to the late Zina Simser and the late Emma Bilow. She was the mother of Sharon (Brian Grant), Karen (Rick Newans), Barry, and the late Gordon. She is survived by grandchildren Annette (Mike), Rhonda, Mike and Jennifer; and by great-grandchildren Nicholas, Brittaney, Tyler, Destiny and Dawson. She was predeceased by her siblings Lesley, Eva, Earney, Harry, Della, Bob, Dorothy, Joe and Donald and by one grandchild Mark.
Formerly of Mountain, she was a housewife and homemaker at her own home and outside. She was a member of the United Church as well as a member of the United Church Women in Mountain.
The funeral will be held in the chapel of the Byers Funeral Home on Dec. 14, 2005, at 1 pm with Rev. Blair Paterson officiating. Interment will be held in the spring at South Gower Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandson Mike Newans and nephews Eylmer Simzer, Zina Simser, Junior Simser, Dale Simser and Glen Keck.
