Evelyn Mae Bell
Evelyn Mae Bell (nee McVey) passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2005, at the Woodland Villa in Long Sault. She was 83.
She was predeceased by her husband Steve Bell in 1983. She was the beloved mother of Orleen (Larrie) Holmes, Tom (Carol), John (Gail), George (Shelley), and Ann (Eric Thompson). She will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is survived by sister Helen (Alan) Yoxon. She will be sadly missed by sisters-in-law Joan Pointing and June Hoy, as well as many nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends.
The funeral service was held in the chapel of the Winchester Funeral Home on Jan. 17 with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial followed at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
The pallbearers were Michael Bell, Shane Bell, Jeff Thompson, Jason Thompson, Mike Nolan, and Al Lang.
