George Wilson Berry
George Berry passed away in hospital on March 16, 2005. He was 78.
He was the beloved husband of Louise (nee Christie) for 54 years. He was the much loved father of Bonnie (Jim Scott) of South Mountain and Steven Berry of North Gower. He was the cherished grandfather of Kevin (Jennifer), Leslie (Danny), and Sarah. He was dear brother of Laura Declaire (the late James) and Pearl Spong (Ronald). He was predeceased by sister Dora Bellinger (Howard) and brother Jack Berry. He will be sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.
The visitation was held at the Lee Cummings Funeral Home in North Gower on March 17. The funeral service took place at North Gower United Church with Rev. Carolyn Insley officiating. There will be a spring interment at South Gower Cemetery. The pallbearers were nephews, Robert Christie, Jeff Christie, Ronnie Wilson, Mark Wilson, Bruce Spong and Earl Deyo.
