Imogene Brown
Imogene Brown (nee Green) of Dundas Manor passed away at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on June 24, 2005. She was 73.
She was born on May 28, 1932 in Gananoque to the late John James Green and the late Rosetta McCoy. She was mother of Christine Brown (Tom Roberts), Lauri Brown (Sandy Pearson) and Vicki Muir (Alan). She was grandmother of Jason Enouy, Marc Roberts; Siobhan McWhinney, Jana McWhinney, Ryan McWhinney, Kyle McWhinney; Cameron Muir, Nathan Muir and KerryAnne Muir. She was sister of Mert Green (Mary) and predeceased by Vern, Keith, Jim, and Wes Green. She was aunt of Michelle, James, Patricia, and Jim. She was the former wife of Francis Brown.
Imogene was a housewife and homemaker, and was a caregiver for several years. She was a Leader of Counterweight, a 4-H Leader, and a volunteer at Dundas Manor. She was a member of the Anglican Church. She will be missed by many Winchester residents and children.
The funeral was held in the Chapel of the Byers Funeral Home in South Mountain on June 28, with Kathryn Otley officiating, followed by cremation.
