Isobel J. Carkner
Isobel J. Carkner passed away peacefully at the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital after a short illness on Jan. 8, 2005.
She was the daughter of the late Percy and Annie (McLean) Carkner. She was the dear sister of Kenneth D. Carkner. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by special friends Mary Murphy, Mary Marek, Pat Jelly, Lois Henry and Evelyn Crawford.
The visitation and service was held at the Duncan Funeral Home on Jan. 13. Interment will be in the spring at Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dale Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Andy Carkner, Donald Carkner, Rob Carkner, and Andrew Peters.
